We will be gathering at the home of Chapter member Jim Baker on Saturday , October 26 to watch the third game of the 2013 World Series.

Jim’s house is located in Cedar Park.  More information will be forthcoming as details are finalized.

We will be gathering at Iron Works BBQ located at 100 Red River in downtown Austin on Thursday, September 19 starting at 6:00 p.m.

For our July meeting, we are going to welcome a group of approximately 14 fellow SABR members from the Chicago area who will be in town to take in some games between the Round Rock Express and the Iowa Cubs, the AAA farm club of the Chicago Cubs.

On Saturday, July 20, we will meet our visitors from the north at the Salt Lick BBQ across the parking lot from the Dell Diamond.  Since that night’s game has an early, 6:05 p.m. starting time, we are going to meet correspondingly early at the Salt Lick.  I will make a reservation for 4:00 p.m.

I will also be purchasing game tickets for those that want them approximately one week prior to the game, in particular, on Friday, July 12.   I will be using my stash of Express "flex plan" tickets that cost $11 each.

For anyone that wishes to attend, I need to hear from you before July 12 with (1) the number of game tickets you would like and (2) the number of people in your party that will be attending the pre-game dinner at the Salt Lick.
