With the 2026 World Series in the books, SABR Hornsby turns its eyes to Awardatron results coming soon, along with the elephant in the room of teams making moves or not before an expected lockout on December 1st. There’s some movement on the GM and managerial fronts, and probably more news to come before we meet on Sunday, November 22, at 1 pm.
We’ll be back at a familiar location – Serranos Cocina and Cantina in South Austin, at the confluence of MoPac and 290. For those new to the chapter, it’s a great location where we usually get enough folks for the restaurant to set aside the semi-private back room for us. Our RSVP form is at the link below; please fill it out by the end of the day on Wednesday, November 18th, so we can hold space for everyone.

Also, good luck to those who entered Ryan’s Contractatron contest, entries for that have closed. With that, I’m off to order a San Antonio Breakfast Tacos t-shirt. Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you in a couple of weeks.
